Spruce and fir cooking workshop – Auris
Ethnobotanist and passionate about nature and wild plants, Caroline climbs up and down Alpine trails all year round. She gathers, experiments, creates, guided by her findings and presents her knowledge at conferences, in workshops and lessons such as: the spruce and fir cooking workshop, where she teaches how to cook conifers. How to identify them? How to avoid confusing them with others? What are their virtues? How can they be used in the kitchen? Once she’s answered all these questions, she shows you how to make an exquisite spruce syrup to take home, and fir-caramel apples to taste on site.

Atelier Bois et Sens - Venosc
The active “wood and senses workshop” is a peaceful, sensorial site nestled in the mountain. It combines meditation and woodwork. Full-presence meditation allows for observation of the internal perception of the body. You can focus, find peace, get in touch with your inner being and with the group. Carving spoons from green wood is a creative, physical and precise activity. It uses traditional manual techniques and very simple tools. The combination of these two disciplines requires peace and effort. Discover a calm, constructive and productive activity and the means to connect consciousness, presence and action to transfer them to your everyday life. A personal experience with exchange and sharing!
