Alpe du Grand Serre

L'Alpe du Grand Serre

1400 metres high on a mountain pass, l'Alpe du Grand Serre offers great views, within conserved nature. Pleasantly uncrowded, it has managed to maintain its rustic charm. This is a great destination for nature lovers and its large off-track skiing area aside from the 55 kilometres of pistes will give you the chance to appreciate it to the fullest. Studded with enchanting traditional chalets, l'Alpe du Grand Serre is also the perfect family resort, quiet and authentic. Small children will be able to learn skiing with trained instructors and the whole family will have a laugh at the Unidentified Sliding Object race! Every year in March, the resort also hosts Jazz'Alp, a one week jazz festival !

This little family-atmosphere mountain village is only 45 minutes drive from Grenoble, at Taillefer and Grand Serre ranges foot, in wooden and natural suroundings. You can enjoy all family outdoor activities, all kind of pleasures : hiking, via ferrata, fishing, orienteering... In unique natural surroundings, at Ecrins national park's doors, the Alpe du Grand Serre is a very accessible resort.
