Located in the Grésivaudan Valley, Goncelin is the starting point of your tour.
You will use the roads in the Grésivaudan valley, a valley steeped in history: the Château de Vizille and the beginnings of the French Revolution, the history of hydropower and its inventor Aristide Berges, and the iron mines of Allevard.
All good reasons to discover this beautiful region by climbing. Ready for the ascent? The first kilometres are not difficult but be careful, some passages are still 11%.
After crossing valleys, clearings, pastures and forests you reach the Col du Barioz pass, located near the ski resort of Le Collet d'Allevard. Go back down into the valley by the same route.
