The Très Cloître District

The Très Cloître District

Grenoble

1 January 2024 au 31 December 2024

Old faubourg of Grenoble, the Très Cloître district became part of the city during the building of the new fortified enclosure of the Duke of Lesdiguières at the end of the 16th century.

The protestant temple and numerous convents were then established there, such as the Minimes Convent (17th c.) and the Sainte-Marie-d'en-Bas Chapel (18th c.), which are still remaining to this day. Follow our guide through the scenic and popular streets, with various anecdotes.
