At the instigation of mayor Paul Mistral, elected in 1919, Grenoble started developing and saw numerous building take shape, that have become today great examples of the Art deco architecture.

In reaction against traditional scenery, Art deco was a reference to nature around a stripped-down aesthetic with geometric lines and shapes that was highly innovative. Take part, with one of our guides, in a journey around beautiful Art deco façades in the city-center. Get to know everything about this art movement that made a great impact on architecture.
