Col de Porte

At the heart of the Chartreuse Nature Park, and only 20 minutes from Grenoble, the Col de Porte resort is located at the bottom of Chamechaude, the highest point in the massif of Chartreuse. The resort is known to generally have a good amount of snow and offers both alpine and nordic skiing (the nordic skiing area is linked to the Saint- Hugues area). The resort also hosts a snowpark that is one of the oldest in France.

Handled by volunteers, it is eco-friendly and 100% built with recycled materials. The Col de Porte is also a great place for hiking, snowshoeing or ski-touring. The Chamechaude ski-touring trek is a Chartreuse classic, granting an amazing view when you reach the top, at 2082m.
