Col de Coq

From St-Pierre-de-Chartreuse, head downhill and take the D30e towards St-Hugues to undertake the difficult climb of the Col du Coq pass.

At the pass, begin the long descent via the D30 to St-Nazaire-les-Eymes, St-Ismier, Montbonnot-St-Martin and Tronche via the D512a then begin the hard climb of the Col de Porte via the Col de Vence and the village resort of Sappey-en-Chartreuse. From the Col de Porte, head to the starting point in the village of St-Pierre-de-Chartreuse.

Sights to see on the way include the church of Sappey-en-Chartreuse with its porch bell tower, a typically Dauphinois feature, and windows designed by Arcabas on the theme of the Resurrection, made ​​in 2002 by Christophe Berthier, a master glassblower from Grenoble.
