Give yourself an exceptional treat. A dream setting, a menu of a thousand flavours and… fine cuisine! Michelin-starred, of course.
In Isère there are five restaurants proudly displaying their Michelin stars, including the first ever restaurant to have been awarded a star by the famous red guide.
Come and taste the excellence of French gastronomy…
In 1925 the restaurant, run by Fernand Point at the time, was a temple of French cuisine, the first Michelin-starred establishment, the symbol of the excellence of French gastronomy represented throughout the world by Point alongside Bocuse, Troisgros and others.
"We want to work without forgetting, while also not forgetting to stay up-to-date" is the motto of Patrick Henriroux, owner and Chef at the establishment since 1989, and of his team, who have become heirs and torchbearers for creative gastronomy at its zenith. La Pyramide, rated 2 Michelin stars, has been part of Relais & Châteaux since 1999.
Unique in the world, the cellar holds over 28,000 bottles, including some unique bottles from the 19th century and an impressive collection of Chartreuse liqueurs.

15 km from Grenoble, Les Terrasses restaurant in Uriage-les-Bains, a well-known gourmet dining establishment, is the second restaurant in the department to have 2 stars in Michelin’s Red Guide.
At the outset, you’ll be seduced by the harmony of the place and especially the unique charm of the large terrace overlooking the park. The attractive contemporary décor of a sleek room, dominated by splashes of energetic red, suggests the modern spirit that inspires the whole team. You’ll appreciate the plush elegance of the bar for an aperitif or coffee. Chef Christophe Aribert serves contemporary and very inventive cuisine. Trained at the Tour d'Argent and Le Crillon during its Constant period, he honed his skills under his predecessor, and was able to take over from him while retaining the 2 precious stars. Young and talented, Christophe Aribert works daily with a team of 15 people. He delights in giving his own take on the gourmet treasures of his native Vercors and the neighbouring areas: crayfish and trout, lake fish, Grenoble walnuts, Alpine cheeses, mountain herbs and, more unusually, Antésite produced in Voiron (Isère). His cuisine is distinguished above all by untrammelled curiosity, and a keen sense for bold combinations. "Two or three, no more, to avoid killing the product," says the Chef, and offers surprising blends of flavours: mushroom and liquorice, red cabbage and chocolate, beetroot, greengage and vanilla...

A gourmet restaurant offering a warm welcome in a charming house.
While the search for balance guides us constantly, this urge is perhaps strongest when it comes to cooking. This balance is no “loose consensus” but on the contrary combines the noblest simplicity with a sincere audacity, far from passing trends and gurus. For inventiveness is only meaningful when paired with the best produce and the skills of all those who went before us. Come and try it, and you’ll see what we mean…
